William McKenna, 88, a life long Dobbs Ferry resident died March 5, 2010. He was born in Dobbs Ferry, the son of Peter and Mary McKenna. He served in the US Navy during WW II. He was an aircraft ordinance man 2nd class. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal after completing 50+ low level flying missions in a Naval Reconnaissance Bomber on Japanese Islands.
Mr. McKenna worked in the assembly division of General Motors in Tarrytown for 35 years.
He is survived by his children Raymond McKenna, Susan Deigan, Kevin (Diane) McKenna and granddaughter Suzy Deigan.
